Svalbard and the Arctic
Svalbard or Spitsbergen, is often the last stop before going to the North Pole.
At around 78 degrees north, being part of the true arctic, you have reindeers in the streets, icy fjords, glaciers, wales, walruses, seals and polar bears wandering around.
In addition to its dazzling nature, you will find some small towns that has become busy tourist destinations, having all amenities for a good stay. For the adventurer there is the odd deserted cabin or mining towns, looking like true film sets, ready to shoot.
